An immersive and inclusive Glamping experience, this is for those of us out there who love to sleep in the great outdoors. The camps are focused at leaving Zero Carbon footprint and being completely Eco Friendly, while still ensuring absolute comfort.  Our canvas tents, with large interior space, all come with Stretcher Beds, Mattresses, Bedding, Closet, LED Lamps and Table & Chairs included, ensuring you can relax comfortably, while still enjoying that feeling of hassle free camping.

Using outdoor and bush-craft styled cooking methods, a daily changing menu of Breakfasts & Dinners are included, with the focus on simple, tasty dishes cooked lovingly over an open fire.

Our mobile tented camps are a fun and interactive escape for not just the seasoned traveler, but also for couples looking for something different, or even the family looking for a unique way to reconnect, spend some quality time and to get off those intoxicating smartphones and tablets. Space is limited to ensure some much needed rest & relaxation and to provide an intimate experience to create those lasting memories.

Areena Riverside Resort is situated on the banks of the Kwelera River, 23 km’s east of East London city center, at the beginning of the Wild Coast.  While still being a conveniently short drive from East London, it certainly feels like you are in a far off destination, with its unsurpassed views of the river, wildlife, birds and surrounding wild coast vegetation.

Areena is all about adventure and as our guests; you will have access to the many adventure & leisure activities that they have on offer, namely:  Quad Bike Safaris, Segway Safaris, Zip-lining, Abseiling and the very Bucket List worthy interaction with their resident friendly giraffe Abby, just to name a few.

With the camp being set up in an area of the resort where some of the game is free to roam, don’t be surprised if you wake up hearing the wildlife grazing near you as the many different species of buck explore the area.
